# Dual-form spring verification

Verified locally on 2026-09-27 against the development sources following
v1.5.0. These additions are recorded under Unreleased in the changelog.

- `l3build check`: all seven suites passed.
- `l3build check spring reference`: passed after the final key declaration.
- Spring suite: 54 assertions covering attachment coordinates, saved lead
  lengths, rotation, scaling, mirroring, inline nodes, node-content options,
  nested paths, hook precedence, ordinary path labels, and outer separation.
- Invalid excessive leads, zero amplitude, and missing spring-length values
  produced explicit errors.
- `generate_reference.py --check` and `build_overleaf_bundle.py --check`: passed.
- Four-page spring gallery compiled with pdfLaTeX and LuaLaTeX. All four
  pdfLaTeX pages were rendered and inspected; spacing was corrected.
- Manual rebuilt successfully; spring section and reference pages inspected.
- Single-file Overleaf gallery compiled with an empty user TeX tree; recorder
  output confirmed the local single-file package and no split runtime modules.
- Updated Overleaf starter compiled; ZIP contents match the generated package.
- User TeX installation refreshed and gallery compiled outside the source
  directory. Recorder output confirmed the user-tree package and modules.
