$Id: README,v 1.12 2003/06/06 18:45:02 unimlo Exp $ **** NOTE: This is pre-alpha code!!! **** - Interface is not final yet! **** - Still lots of bugs! Need more testing! Net::ACL version 0.06 ===================== The Net::ACL module allows a Perl program to do complex filtering and manipulation of data in the same way as routers does with access-lists and route-maps. The access and control lists are general and can handle any data that perl can handle. The bundled matching and modification modules however have been focused on data like IP addresses and data found in the BGP protocol. Later other router data types may be added. However adding simple matching rules or modification rules for other complex data types are simple. Any comments and feedback are more then welcome! INSTALLATION To install this module type the following: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install DEPENDENCIES This module requires these other modules and libraries: Scalar::Util Net::Netmask Cisco::Reconfig IO::String Scalar::Util For testing to be fully operational: Test::More Test::Harness Test::Signature To have the BGP features functioning you also need: Net::BGP version 0.04 or newer. All modules can be found on CPAN. Installing using the CPAN(+) enviroment is recommended for easy dependency resolution.
