Add and Modify Custom Data Example (JavaScript)

This example constructs a Circle in a DraftSight drawing and adds custom data to the Circle.
  1. Start DraftSight.
  2. Using the following form, specify the center point and radius for the Circle and the custom data's application name:
    1. Type the x, y, and z coordinates for the center point of the Circle in Center point X, Center point Y, and Center point Z.
    2. Type a radius for the Circle in Radius.
    3. Type an application name (maximum of 50 characters) for the custom data in Application name.
    4. Click Insert.
  3. Examine the drawing to verify that the Circle was constructed.
  4. Examine the Output field in the form to verify that custom data was added and modified.

NOTES:

  • Errors are also printed to Output.
  • To recreate this example:
